Review Technology News Tech News Apple Upgrade to MacBook Air

Apple has upgraded the MacBook Air according to Apple.com.  The new highlighted features to Apple are quoted as "The Ultimate Everyday NoteBook" and "The new faster, MacBook Air.

Everyone should have a notebook this advanced.  And everyone can." on the MacBook Air page.

The upgraded MacBook Air now comes with all the latest Intel Core processors, the i5, the i7, being quoted as 2.5x faster than before the upgrade.

The High Speed Thunderbolt I/O is definitely something to brag about.  You can connect this MacBook Air to a Thunderbolt display and reap all sorts of notable features.  The display has all sorts of connectors so when you plug in your notebook right into the Thunderbolt display with 2 connector cords.  Poof!!! Like Magic you are in and are now connected to a display with over 4 million pixels, Gigabit Ethernet, 3 Usb Ports, a FaceTime HD Camera, 2.1 Stereo Sound, a built in microphone and many other awesome features.  Definitely credit due and merits there.  This my friend is a great way to really help maintain their hold on the market share with the desktop and notebook conversion.

I could truly care less about a back-lit keyboard but it does look Awesome!!!

I think most notably the fact that there is no moving hard drive is what really sets this MacBook Air apart from its previous version.  This is a true leap in technology, from the gigstick to the hard drive, Solid-State is the way to go!  This tech upgrade coupled with the OS X LION operating system and a Intel i5 or i7 is something to talk about.  I have never seen substantial increases in boot times due to any other reason than switching from a moving hard drive to a Solid-State drive.  This will, i feel be the single handed account for why your MacBook Air will startup/shutdown and process all tasks just that much faster.  You will notice it.  There is a reason why Mac holds a huge market share and their products for the most part do not fail to impress!
